Hospital and senior living notary. Bedside, calm and on time.
When a family member is in the hospital, rehab or a care community, I come to the room to notarize powers of attorney, medical directives and other documents. Visits run seven days a week from 7am to 9pm, often the same day, with the full price confirmed before I head out.

Hospital notary FAQ
Can you notarize for someone in the hospital?
Yes. Hospital rooms, rehabilitation units and ICU family areas are regular appointment locations. The signer must be alert, understand what they are signing and be signing willingly, which I confirm at the appointment. If medication or illness makes that unclear, the notarization cannot go ahead and only the travel fee applies.
What if the signer cannot hold a pen?
Texas allows a signature by mark, or a signature made by another person at the signer's direction, with witnesses present. Mention this when booking so the right witnesses are arranged ahead of time.
Do you bring witnesses?
Documents such as directives to physicians and some powers of attorney need witnesses who are not the notary, not related to the signer and not beneficiaries. I can coordinate witnesses in advance for an additional fee, or the facility may be able to help. Hospital staff are often not permitted to witness, so ask before relying on them.
